Drums of the Pacific Luau

Your luau evening

3 hours

The sound of drums, the call of the conch and a warm island welcome set the tone for Drums of the Pacific at the Hyatt Regency Maui. This lively luau brings together Hawaiian food, cultural traditions and an energetic Polynesian show in a beautiful West Maui resort setting.

Guests are welcomed with a shell lei and mai tai before the evening begins with interactive activities such as hula lessons, coconut tree climbing and poi ball demonstrations. The traditional imu ceremony follows, offering a closer look at the underground cooking method used to prepare kalua pork for the luau feast.

After dinner, the stage fills with music and dance from Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti, Rarotonga, the Tuamotus, Tonga and New Zealand. Produced by Tihati Productions, the show carries guests across Polynesia through colorful costumes, powerful drumming and lively performances before building to an exciting three-man fire-knife finale.
