Spend an evening beneath the stars at Hawaii Loa Luau, set on the beautiful grounds of the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island. Surrounded by tropical scenery, you’ll enjoy Hawaiian music, graceful hula and island stories that bring the spirit of Hawaii to life.
The luau takes place in a scenic orchard beside Kalahuipua’a, a historic gathering place where Hawaiian royalty once came together to feast. Before the main show begins, you’ll have time to meet members of the cast, learn about traditional games and enjoy cultural presentations that make the evening feel personal and welcoming.
As night falls, the sound of the toere drum signals the start of the performance. Live music, hula and storytelling lead into an exciting fire-knife dance, while the story of Hawai’iloa, the legendary Polynesian navigator, unfolds on stage. A generous buffet prepared by the Fairmont Orchid’s culinary team and a hosted bar with tropical drinks and classic cocktails complete the evening.
