Your luau evening
Right on the water in the heart of Kailua-Kona, Island Breeze Luau brings together Hawaiian history, island hospitality and a lively Polynesian show in a setting that feels truly special. The celebration takes place at Kamakahonu Bay on grounds once associated with King Kamehameha the Great, with the ocean just steps away.
Your evening begins with the arrival of the Royal Court, followed by hands-on cultural activities such as hula lessons and mo’olelo, or Hawaiian storytelling. It is a relaxed way to learn, participate and ease into the celebration before dinner is served.
The buffet features favorites such as kalua-style pork, island fish, grilled teriyaki beef, barbecue chicken, poi and lomi lomi salmon, along with fresh island sides and desserts. A hosted bar is included as well. After dinner, enjoy “He ‘Ohana Kakou,” a colorful Polynesian revue filled with music, dance and traditions from Hawaii and across the Pacific.
