Luau Ka Hikina

Along Kauai’s scenic east shore, Luau Ka Hikina welcomes guests to an open-air evening of Hawaiian hospitality, ocean views and Polynesian tradition at Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort. The luau takes place in Halau Ho’okipa, a beautiful pavilion fronting ancient royal surfing grounds and designed to make the most of the coastal setting.

The evening begins with a lei greeting, a welcome mai tai or fruit punch, and time to browse local vendors and cultural activities. As the sun lowers, the torch lighting ceremony sets the stage for a celebration filled with live music, hula and dances from across Polynesia.

The show includes hula kahiko, or ancient hula, under the direction of award-winning kumu hula Leilani Rivera Low, along with Tahitian, Maori, Tongan and Samoan performances. Dinner is a locally inspired Hawaiian feast with island favorites, modern touches and an open bar included before the main performance begins.

General Seating includes shared seating in the open-air luau pavilion, a lei greeting upon arrival, a welcome mai tai or fruit punch and hosted open bar service before the performance begins.
