Your luau evening
On the shores of Wailua Bay, Wailua Nui Luau brings together ocean breezes, Kauai stories and Polynesian traditions in a setting tied closely to the island’s history. Held at the Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay, the evening celebrates the people, places and voyages that helped shape Kauai and the wider Pacific.
Guests are welcomed with a fresh flower lei before enjoying interactive hana no’eau, or traditional skilled arts. Activities may include tatau, floral wristlet making and coconut crown weaving, along with on-stage demonstrations that offer a closer look at Hawaiian culture before dinner.
The show brings Kauai’s stories to life through mele, hula and Polynesian dance, with performances inspired by ancient navigators, fishermen and the traditions connected to Wailua. An island buffet, drink tickets and the oceanfront setting complete the evening, while Tihati Productions provides the live entertainment.
